Lina Tipnis

Lina Tipnis, a name synonymous with diffusion clothing and prêt, has carved a niche in the fashion arena by moving both genres with innovative styling.

Her success in India and abroad for the pioneering work over the last decade, has won her the prestigious Indira Gandhi young achievers award in 2002.

She is one of the very few designers to showcase her lines at Fashion Weeks in India as well as CPD (Collection Premieren Dusseldorf) -IGEDO Co. in 1997 and 2006. In November 2005 - she had an exclusive showing of clothing fused with Indian art, to a very discerning audience at the Katonah Museum in New York.

Very recently, she was awarded the Lions Gold International Award for the Designer of the Year - 2009.

Her label is known for its innovation, impeccable finish and distinctive look that combines classic elegance with soft sensuality.
